He could do it if you?
The winter months would be difficult because of the weather, and most charter boats in the area, which is not running) from January to March or April (insurance. It would be a long journey, many hours of just riding on a ship.

These are some sites that you can investigate. Fishing can be slow and a trip to New York would be fun!
Good Luck - Have Fun!
It is a very good idea, unfortunately, could be very expensive, and travel in each direction would be at least one full day. Most of the letters to the fishery dependent, but this time of year you can find someone who would be willing, but the Atlantic weather is not predictable at this time of year. At best, the 50 'charter boat an average of 20 km / h, often less, if the estimate of 250 miles would take 12 to 18 hours each way, and that's better. If I guess, and I'm no expert on this subject say, $ 1,000 to $ 2,000 per person, plus a contingency plan in case of delay due to bad weather. Hope this helps.
Richard C is in proportion with his answer, but with the economy as it is able to "find" someone who is willing to risk the trip. It is the time of the year, but really do with the possibility of Nor'easter comes from the Atlantic coast.
Well, someone very like you me Beyon. Perhaps a visit to the port in your area and see if someone can tell someone to check with.
Good luck.
Take a look in the directory
